Event Description
On Saturday, April 25, 2009, the winners of seven BC Book Prizes, as well as the recipient of The Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Literary Excellence, will be presented before an audience of authors, publishers, media and friends.
Emceed by Alan Twigg of BC BookWorld and featuring many well-known and beloved authors and personalities, the Gala is the province’s premier annual celebration of BC literature. British Columbia’s Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable Steven L. Point, OBC, will be in attendance to present the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Literary Excellence.
Finalist and winning books will be available for purchase at the People’s Co-operative Bookstore booth.
