Event Description
The BC Book Prizes On Tour will be in Northern BC from April 13–18. We will be visiting the lovely communities of Kitimat, Smithers, Hazelton, Prince George, Prince Rupert, Terrace, and possibly more.
Four shortlisted authors will be touring Northern BC:
- Margaret Horsfield, Voices from the Sound: Chronicles of Clayoquot Sound and Tofino 1899-1929 (Roderick Haig-Brown Regional Prize)
- Katarina Jovanovic, The King Has Goat Ears (Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize)
- Elise Partridge, Chameleon Hours (Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize)
- Robin Stevenson, A Thousand Shades of Blue (Sheila A. Egoff Children’s Literature Prize)
