BC Book Prizes On Tour presented by Rio Tinto Alcan
A BC150 Event
Four shortlisted authors will hit the road On Tour, with FREE public readings at bookstores and libraries in the Lower Mainland. They are:
- Lisa Cinar The Day It All Blew Away (Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize)
- Robert Hiedbreder A Sea-Wishing Day(Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize)
- Shaena Lambert Radiance (Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize)
- Gillian Wigmore Soft Geography (Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize)
- Ruth Campbell Elf the Eagle (Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature Prize)

Meet the authors and get personally signed books for yourself, friends or family at the public events listed below. While On Tour, our authors will also visit select local schools, leaving behind signed copies of their books for the school libraries.

Robert and Lisa will visit Charles Dickens Elementary and Hastings Elementary school. Gillian and Shaena will meet students at Vancouver Technical Secondary.

Morning events for students at Boundary Elementary (Robert and Lisa) and Argyle Secondary schools (Shaena and Gillian).
Tuesday, April 15 RICHMOND

Samuel Brighouse Elementary students will meet Robert and Lisa. After meeting students at Richmond Secondary school, Gillian and Shaena will read and sign books at the Richmond Public Library.
