This week, February 22-28, 2009, is Freedom to Read Week. We encourage everyone to keep on reading and reflect on what “freedom to read” means to you.
Please visit the Freedom to Read website, there is lots of interesting information including kits for schools and education, quotes from authors and publishers, the history of reading freedoms in Canada, and a list of controversial books and magazines.
