100-Mile Diet meets Reality TV

Six brave families from Mission, BC volunteered to take part in the 100-mile diet challenge as part of a new six-part series on Food Network Canada.

The 100-Mile Diet, winner of the Hubert Evans Non-Fiction Prize in 2008, was written by James MacKinnon and Alisa Smith. “Throughout The 100 Mile Challenge, James and Alisa provide the families with expert information, tips, encouragement, corrections, and a series of challenges.”

The 100 Mile Challenge website on FoodTV.ca is amazing; filled with webisodes, meal planners, tips and information! Want to challenge yourself to the 100-Mile diet? You can sign up on FoodTV.ca and track your progress!

Airs on Sunday, April 5 at 1 pm and 8 pm ET / 10 am and 5 pm PT
