UBC Farm Fundraiser with Brian Brett and Barbara-Jo’s Books to Cooks

Join Barbara-Jo’s Books to Cooks and Trauma Farm author, Brian Brett for a fundraiser for UBC Farm on Wednesday, July 7, at 6:00 p.m. Brian Brett was shortlisted for three different BC Book Prizes in 2010 for Trauma Farm: A Rebel History of Rural Life, and won the Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Choice Award.

At the fundraiser, Brian will read from his book and respond to questions on farming issues. Mark Bomford of UBC Farm will also update guests on new developments for UBC farm. This reception will include local wines and an array of UBC Farm’s early summer bounty.

Cost: $75.00 (includes a signed copy of Trauma Farm). Proceeds of all ticket sales will be donated to UBC Farm. Pre-registration is required as space is limited; early booking is advised.
