September 20, 2010Writing Studio at Banff Centre
Award-winning writer Daphne Marlatt is on the faculty for the Banff Centre’s Writing Studio. Daphne received the 2008 Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize for The Given and was awarded the Order of Canada in 2006 for her contributions to Canadian literature.
The Writing Studio at The Banff Centre is a five-week program offering poets and writers of fiction and other narrative prose the time, space, and support they need to pursue a writing project, with the benefit of editorial consultation. Application deadline is November 15, 2010 for the April/May 2011 session.
